So, I’ve had a case of writer’s block for the past week or two. Hey, it happens! But, I’m thinking I can do captions to go along with some photos, so here you go…
Just in case you thought the Kilt thing was a one-and-done… No, still digging the kilts and so are our friends. The novelty will no doubt wear off in the not too distant future, but in the meantime I’m happy to play along.
Debbie’s bolero and my arm-warmers would suggest that Fall is now upon us here in the South. However, it was still a great day for a tandem ride despite the brisk temps as the skies were clear and the sun felt wonderful!
The lovely Miss Debbie relaxes on the breezeway after getting back from our tandem ride. We really need to spend more time out there, but then again that would require us to spend more time at home!
After riding two-up on the tandem we switch horses and ride two-up on our Harley Road King, Blue II. A nice way to make the trip over to Loco Willy’s for lunch!
So, imagine our surprise when our friend and Loco Willy’s marketing department, Rex, had a huge platter of Nacho Loco’s delivered to us on “National Nacho Day”. Not something we’d normally order and for good reason: we nearly ate the whole thing!!!
No better way to recover from a plate of Loco Nachos than to spend your Sunday morning out on the tandem working-off those nachos! Back on the breezeway with our Chicken, an homage to Key West’s feathered inhabitants.
Oh yes, that’s one of Christain’s amazing concoctions, made possible by the triumphant return of F.O.190 to the frozen drink machine selections!! And, yes… I know just how fortunate I am to have her in my life!!
Just a couple AARP members out for a good time! I swear, we just keep having more and more fun the closer we get to 60!! Who knew!
As the temps continued to fall I found myself without a cycling partner this past Saturday morning. Looks like we may have to shift our cycling activities to the afternoon!!
