Honda’s F6B…. An Interesting Twist On A Proven Design.

How does Honda tap into the next generation of would-be touring bike riders that don’t see themselves on ST1300’s or GL1800s and, instead, segue to touring on the back of a Harley Davidson Road Glide like this 2012 CVO model?

Let’s see, take a Honda GL1800C Goldwing….

Cut-down the windscreen, remove the 60 lbs of tour pack and saddle, restyle the radiator openings and black-out everything and you have Honda’s F6B & answer to the Harley Davidson Road Glide.

Full details HERE.    And, for a side-by-side with a Harley CVO Road Glide Thankfully, I’m not in the market for a touring bike with a fixed fairing.  If I was, I’d want to take the F6B for a test ride to be sure.  The styling is a out there, but the technology is bombproof and that’s pretty attractive when we’re talking about a bike that you’d use to do cross country rides.

About TG

I've been around a bit and done a few things, have a couple kids and a few grandkids. I tend to be curmudgeonly, matter-of-fact and not predisposed to self-serving chit-chat. Thankfully, my wife's as nice as can be otherwise we'd have no friends. My interests are somewhat eclectic, but whose aren't?
